UNRWA staff was prevented from enter and exit from the north camps in Lebanon; this step comes in the context of escalating steps that Palestinians of Syria threatened with, as a reaction to the recent UNRWA’s decision to suspend monthly cash assistance of sheltering allowance.
A state of boiling anger still prevails among Palestinian Syrian refugees who stressed that they will continue their peaceful mobilization until UNRWA undo its unfair decision against them, and to secure a decent life for them until they return to their camps in Syria, or to their homeland Palestine.
Within the context of escalation against UNRWA’s decision, several Lebanese areas and Palestinian camps witnessed sit-ins events in which organizers condemned the decision of UNRWA, and demanded undo of this decision, and carry out their duties towards the Palestinian refugees in general, and especially those who came from Syria.
