The 17-year-Palestinian boy “Marcel Adnan Khalifa,” from the city of Doma in Damascus suburb, died due to torture in the prisons of the Syrian regime, where his family only received his death certificate without his personal ID and his own purposes. The death certificate stated that he died on May 25, 2012, while the AGPS could not assure the news from other sources; especially since there are similar cases have occurred previously, then some of them turned out to be alive.
It is noteworthy that Khalifa was arrested while passing through Jeser Mesraba checkpoint of the Syrian regime, while he was 17 years back then, and now he is 20.
