The AGPS documentation and monitoring team documented the names of 140 PLA victims who died since the beginning of the ongoing war in Syria; most of them died during the military operations in Damascus suburb.Â
The group revealed that 42 PLA victims died since the beginning of 2015, including four members died in January 2015, 18 in February, 19in the beginning of April 2015, including 13 died during fighting between the regular army and ISIS in Swaidaa province suburb $ southern Syria.
In the same context, social networking and websites shared news about the arrival of nearly 250member of the “Qadeseia Brigade” affiliated to the PLA on the evening of Friday, 12 / June – into Al Thaala military airport in western suburb of Swaidaa.
The 250 members arrived in order to support the Syrian regime forces, where sources confirmed that those troops entered by civilian cars with light and heavy weapons to, across the agricultural roads connecting western suburb of Swaidaa with the airport, while the AGPS could not assure the news from other sources.
Meanwhile, the AGPS received messages and calls from a number of activists and families of victims and recruits who are required to perform the military service appealing the PLA General Staff, the PLO, and the stakeholders not pushing their children in the conflict in Syria, not sending them to areas of tension, and to stop bloodshed of Palestinian youth in a battle which is not theirs.
It should be noted that Palestinian refugees in Syria are obliged to perform the PLA military service, and anyone who refuse would be exposed to prosecution and imprisonment, forcing many young people, who refuse to perform military service during the war in Syria, to leave and travel to neighboring countries.
