Palestinian families from Syria have launched appeals for information about the condition of their relatives who have recently disappeared on the migration route between Turley and Greece.
Speaking with AGPS, a family said a group of youth disappeared on August 19. Unverified sources claimed they are detained in a Turkish custody in Mugla province while others said they have been trapped on a Greek island.
A few days earlier, AGPS confirmed in a report that 208 irregular migrants, including Palestinian refugees, were detained off Izmir. Their families expressed concern over their potential deportation to Syria.
