Palestinian activists revealed, based on leaked documents published by the Zaman al-Wasl website and newspaper, the deaths of six Palestinian refugees under torture in Syrian regime prisons. The refugees, originally from the Khan al-Shih and Yarmouk camps, were identified as: Al-Baraa Fayez Diab, Muhammad Ahmad Diab, Ahmad Khaled Fayyad, Malek Salem Abdullah al-Khalidi, Muhammad Ahmad Saeed (known as al-Hajji), and Majd Mohsen Saleh (Bilal Abu George).

One of the leaked documents from Tishreen Military Hospital showed that some of the victims were admitted to the hospital while still alive, before their names were later added to the death lists, indicating that they had been tortured or executed. The documents also revealed that these names are among the hundreds of detainees Zaman al-Wasl has been documenting since 2011, including dozens of Palestinian refugees in Syria.

These leaks are among the most prominent pieces of evidence exposing the systematic violations committed by the Syrian regime against Palestinian and Syrian detainees, with records indicating the involvement of doctors and officers in torture and enforced disappearances inside hospitals and military prisons.
