Palestinians of Syria in Turkey Complain of Dire Living Conditions Force them to Migrate Despite their Poor Means

Palestinian Syrian refugees in Turkey suffer of great difficulties and obstacles that prevent them from stability and from trying to travel towards the European countries in spite of the weakness of their potential, and most important of these difficulties, widespread of unemployment, high food prices, and houses’ rents.
A number of families live in warehouses in joint residential communities, and some of them live in joint tents in very bad conditions. A Palestinian refugee says that the fare of worst home may reach $ 150 a month without electricity and water bills and other expenses.
In the latest figures, the number of Palestinian Syrian refugees, according to unofficial statistics and approximate numbers estimated at between three thousand and five thousand people living in the three major provinces; which are “Istanbul,” “Gaziantep,” and “Hatay” or the so called “Antioch”.
There are 153 families in the city of Kilis, in Gaziantep “86” family, and in the Mardin camp 36 families, in Diyarbakir the number of families estimated with “65” family, and in the city Mrash20 family, and in Konya there are a number of Palestinian Syrian families, and there are families in the areas of Asenyort, Belk Dozo, Ofjelar, Jana Mahlsa,Ghazi Osman in Istanbul, Chapa, Asneort, and Aasenlr towns in the European section of the city.
Many of them had suffered difficulties while crossing the border and a number of them died by the Turkish army fire.
It is worth mentioning that Turkey mostly is not the final destination for Palestinians of Syria, but is most prominent as a transit point toward Europe.
