Bread Crisis at Khan Danoun Camp in Damascus Suburb

In Damascus suburb, residents of Khan Danoun camp in Damascus suburb live in , since more than two months, a crisis to get a loaf of bread due to reducing the flour quantity and fuel provided to the ovens of the camp, said AGPS correspondent.
 Hundreds of people gather daily for long hours in front of the ovens to get a bundle of bread which represents their daily sustenance. The residents of Khan Danoun camp complained in the recent period from its bad quality and the occurrence of some insects such as worms.
The residents demanded the Syrian government and the concerned authorities to provide bread material because it is essential for them and they cannot dispense or replace it with another substance. As well as, they demanded to increase the allocations of flour for the camp’s ovens and to hold the owners of furnaces who only care to earn materialistic profit. The residents of Khan Danoun camp are suffering from a severe crisis in diesel and in domestic gas in addition to power outages for long hours up to more than 16 hours a day.
