Lebanon: Families of Palestinians of Syria Students at Bir Zeit School Renew Appealing for Providing their Children with Teaching Staff

Families of Palestinian Syrian students in Lebanon demanding the Palestinian ambassador, the PLO, and the Palestinian factions in Lebanon to move immediately to put pressure on UNRWA and urged them to work to secure teaching staff and textbooks for their children who are in Bir Zeit UNRWA School in Siblin area of the city of Sidon, southern Lebanon.
Families confirmed in previous message published by the AGPS that their children have not been giving only a few classes after more than two months of the new academic year start.
Noting that the number of teachers who are in a school that contains more than 250 students are only five teachers, noting that the school did not distribute textbooks entirely on students, while they noticed that teachers and books were available to their peers of the Palestinian refugees residing in Lebanon.
It is noteworthy that there are 6000 Palestinian Syrian students studying in UNRWA schools in Lebanon suffer from learning difficulties, overcrowded classrooms, and ignorance of UNRWA to their problems and their educational needs.
