The AGPS received news reported that the Syrian authorities have sentenced death to the Palestinian Syrian software engineer “Basil Khartabeil Al Safadi,” while the news was not confirmed yet.
Al Safadi had been detained for three years and seven months in Adra prison then was transferred to an unknown destination; he is a blogger and software developer in Syria and an activist in projects such as Mozilla, Firefox, and Wikipedia. Â There is no information so far that he has been executed or not yet.
