The monitoring and documentation team of the AGPS announced that “14” Palestinian refugees have died since the beginning of January until today, including “5” refugees died under torture in the Syrian regime’s prisons, “3” refugees died due to the siege and the lack of medical care, “3” refugees died during clashes and shelling, and a refugees died while trying to reach the Nordic, where his body was found frozen in a forest while trying to reach Greece. It is mentioned that that his five years daughter accompanied him during the trip, where her father died while holding her to protect her from cold in those woods. Another refugee died after a painful accident while trying to reach Europe through Macedonia by land. The total number of Palestinian victims, documented by the AGPS is “2609” victims.
