The Cypriot authorities allowed the entry of Al Wafaa European campaign to its territories after detaining them on Monday, 26th of January 2015 at Larnaca airport for 48 hours and preventing their entry to the Cypriot territories. Meanwhile, resources confirmed that this decision came after the intervention of the Dutch authorities, the fact that the President of the campaign “Amin Abu Rashid” holds the Dutch citizenship.
It is noteworthy that “Abu Rashid” had arrived in Larnaca from Rotterdam on a humanitarian mission which inspects the situation of more than 200 Palestinian refugees from Syria after the campaign provided them with food meals, previously.
