The AGPS Correspondent in South of Damascus reported that the Syrian Army released the Palestinian female with other 3 women in an exchange agreement between the Islam Army, one of the armed opposition groups, and the Syrian Army.
In details, on Thursday a prisoners’ exchange agreement was implemented at Bebla-Sedi Jaber checkpoint. The agreement included hat the Islam Army releases a man and his wife, who were accused of collaborators with the Syrian Army, and the Syrian will release 6 detainees. 44 women were released and the Syrian regime will also release 2 men in the coming days. One of the mediators said that 3 of the freed women are from Yelda and they were detained for more than 4 months, where the fourth woman was being detained for a year and she is a Palestinian refugee from Yarmouk Camp. The Islam Army didn’t announce the names of the released detainees. It was mentioned that there was a condition of releasing women who were being arrested since along time ad due to revolutionary reasons not criminal reasons and from anywhere in Syria. Â
