Wide security campaign was implemented in Al Aedein camp by dozens of Syrian security forces, yesterday, began with crossfire between Syrian security forces and a number of armed youths in the Western of “Nissan” Hospital, accompanied by sounds of explosions by mortars that targeted the camp and its surroundings.
Our correspondent reported that the clashes broke out after an attempt of the Syrian security patrols to raid the home of the wanted young man “Wisam Al Sayed” known as Abu Mohammed. The young man is one those who settled their status with the Syrian security services in coordination with the Palestinian factions. Our correspondent also reported that there were crowds of the Syrian security forces in the western vicinity of the camp, coincided with a number of snipers and members of the security forces who were based on the surfaces of the rooms in the University City, adjacent to the camp.
As the campaign provoked a state of panic amongst the residents who rushed to bring their children from schools, to close their shop and stay in their homes for fear of being shot or arrested
It is noteworthy that the AGPS documented the names of 123 prisoners from Al Aedin cam in Homs.
