The AGPS documentation and monitoring team announced that the number of the PLA victims who died due to the ongoing conflict in Syria during February 2015 has reached 16 members most of them died due to military operations in Damascus suburb.
In the same context, the AGPS revealed that it documented the names of 119 PLA victims who died since the beginning of the ongoing war in Syria, while the group received calls and appeals from a number of activists and families of the PLA victims who are obliged to perform the military service. The activists and the families demanded to directly call the PLA Chef of General Staff, the PLO, and the concerned parties to avoid their relative of being involved in the ongoing conflict in Syria and not to send their relatives to the tension areas, and to stop bloodshed of the Palestinian youth in a fight that not theirs.
It is noted that the Palestinian refugees in Syria are obliged to perform the PLA military service and everyone who refuses will be prosecuted and imprisoned, the thing that forced many youth who refuse to perform the military service during the ongoing war in Syria to leave and travel to the neighboring towns.
