The Palestinian Independent Gathering called on all the Palestinian families in south Damascus to participate in a sit-in protest on Friday October 20th 2017 from the Big Mosque in Yelda. The protest is to demand UNRWA to send its food aid to the Palestinian refugees that are under siege in south Syria and to express their anger towards UNRWA for reducing its financial assistance, according to a statement released by the gathering.
