The Palestinian and the Syrian Refugees Continue their Hunger Strike for 25 days in Egypt, Karmouz Prison.

The Palestinian and the Syrian refugees who are detained in Egypt, Alexandria, Karmouz Prison are still continuing their hunger strike for 25 consecutive days which was started on Monday, 9th of last February, until they achieve their demands of being released and to urgently coordinate with the concerned bodies to receive them in the European countries where they families are.

It is mentioned that the detainees are living in a difficult situation, according to a detainee they were allowed, each 10 days, to go up to the roof of the building to have some fresh air as some of them were infected with skin diseases due to the joint unhealthy bathrooms.

The Egyptian authorities had arrested “56” Palestinian refugees from Syria while trying to reach Italy from the Turkish beaches 125 days ago, as they were victim to a scam by smugglers who left them on one of the islands off the Egyptian shores.
