AGPS’s Monitoring and Documentation Team announced that 13 Palestinian refugees died in January 2018. 10 people died of gunshot wounds, one refugee died of a sniper shot, another person died due to torture in the Syrian regime prisons and one refugee died as a result of the bombardments.
The Action Group indicated that the Palestinian refugees who died during January, were distributed across Syria as follows: 6 refugees died in the suburbs of Damascus, 3 people died in unknown locations, one person in Deir ez-Zour, one person in Hama, another refugee in Idlib and a refugee in Damascus.
This brings the total number of Palestinian refugees who have died since the beginning of the Syrian war, to 3645 victims, according to the Action Group.
