In the Netherlands, Palestinian-Syrian refugee “Bassel Al-Khayal”won second place in the “Physique”competition, which was held in the Netherlands.
The position Al-Khayal achieved is considered very important to his sports career, and will add to his self-confidence, to encourage him to continue his training and win first place in the next Physical competition in the Netherlands. Al-Khayal was displaced to the Netherlands from the Sham Road neighborhood, located opposite to Al-Aedin camp in Homs.
A number of Palestinians who fled to the Netherlands from the refugee camps in Syria, achieved great success, including Palestinian refugee “Bahaa Al-Tawba”from Al-Aedin camp in Homs, who came third in the Isala Cup competition in the Netherlands, for carrying 9 kilograms. Bahaa also came third place in his first Open Bodybuilding Championship in Holland, which was held on 27-03-2017, in Capelle Aan Den Ijssel in the city of Rotterdam.
