The United Nations International Organization for Migration (IOM) confirmed last night, that the number of victims of a ship packed with migrants which sunk off the coast of Tunisia in the weekend, rose to 60 victims, in one of the worst migration accidents in years.
The Tunisian authorities said the ship sank off the coast of Kerkennah on Saturday night, and added that the migrants were from Tunisia and other countries.
