The Syrian opposition published photographs of the two PLA recruits bodies of, “Mahmoud Abu Al Leil” and “Anas KAreim” with signs of torture, where opposition groups have found those pictures among a group of pictures of torture victims that were found in the Criminal Security Branch (one of the Syrian security branches) in the city of Idlib, after it controlled it.
The published pictures showed the rooms and the means of torture by Syrian security forces, indicating the responsibility of the Syrian security forces in Idlib for the massacre in which seventeen PLA recruits were killed after being kidnapped for nearly two years while they were on their way back from a military location in Masyaf to their camp Neirab in Aleppo before being assassinated after a month of being kidnapped.
The Syrian regime accused the Syrian armed opposition groups of assassinating the victims. the Syrian security forces and members loyal to it promoting it and mobilized the people of Neirab to fight the Syrian opposition, in conjunction with the formation of al-Quds Brigade military group in order to fight alongside the Syrian army in the war against the Syrian opposition.
