His name became known as the official spokesperson for the student camp that was held for more than six months in front of the main building of the University of Gothenburg.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00c2\u00a0Despite its removal by police decision in November 2024, the camp left a significant impact in academic and community circles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00c2\u00a0Speaking to the Swedish Arabic-language newspaper Alkompis, Khattab said about his selection on the list:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00c2\u00a0\u201cI do not consider this a personal achievement, but rather a victory for everyone who seeks to raise the voice of the Palestinian cause.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00c2\u00a0We will continue to deliver our message to the world, and you will see us next year in many important events in Sweden to talk about the struggle of the Palestinian people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201dKhattab stressed the importance of the student movement in supporting the Palestinian cause, noting that \u201cthe student movement in Gothenburg is an integral part of the global struggle to support the Palestinians in their resistance to the occupation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00c2\u00a0We seek to unify our efforts with international parties to enhance this support.
