Action Group – Rural Damascus<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Action Group for Palestinians of Syria organized a photo exhibition titled \u201cFaces in Memory\u201dat Khan Dannun refugee camp in Rural Damascus, aiming to shed light on the suffering of detained and forcibly disappeared Palestinians in Syrian prisons, as part of ongoing efforts to document violations related to this humanitarian issue.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition, which was attended by families of detainees, local activists, and media representatives, featured photographs and posters of a number of Palestinian detainees whose fates remain unknown, amid the absence of any official information regarding their whereabouts or legal status.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Group stated that the exhibition is part of its campaigns aimed at bringing attention to the human rights file of Palestinian detainees in Syria and sparking public dialogue around forced disappearance and its impact on individuals and society.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition included awareness segments and speeches by the families of some of the victims, addressing the psychological and social effects of their loved ones’ absence. Artistic pieces portraying the experience of detention from various human perspectives were also displayed.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Action Group team that organized the event emphasized that the exhibition is part of ongoing documentation efforts to demand the disclosure of the fate of thousands of Palestinian detainees since 2011.
