A high-level German medical delegation from Cap Anamur Deutsche conducted a field visit to Yarmouk Camp in southern Damascus to assess the health situation and review medical services provided to Palestinian refugees in the camp.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The delegation included the organization’s Director General and representatives from a German medical institution. They toured several health centers within the camp, listened to testimonies from residents about the main challenges they face in accessing medical care, and observed the urgent medical needs affecting the population.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The visit was coordinated by active local teams, most notably the \u201cLamset Ghaith Development Team,\u201din cooperation with the Syrian-Palestinian association \u201cBasmat\u201dand the \u201cI\u201d\u02dcdad Foundation,\u201dwho provided the delegation with a detailed overview of the efforts made to improve health conditions, including the provision of medicine and medical supplies under extremely limited resources.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Importantly, the delegation’s visit was coordinated and accompanied by Mohammad Diyaa Ammori, who facilitated their travel from Lebanon to Syria, ensuring the mission’s smooth logistics and liaison with local stakeholders.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Delegation members emphasized that the visit aims to strengthen medical and humanitarian cooperation with local partners, noting that they will conduct a comprehensive needs assessment in preparation for offering technical and logistical support in the near future.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Local organizers expressed their appreciation for the initiative, hoping it would help spotlight the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Yarmouk Camp, particularly in the health sector, and pave the way for more effective international interventions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
