He remained in detention for seven years under harsh humanitarian conditions, during which he endured severe physical and psychological torture that significantly deteriorated his health.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:al jazeera; font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-size:1.5em\">In 2019, the regime authorities released him due to his critical health condition. He emerged from prison in a dire state, suffering from severe complications of untreated diabetes.
