We have been subjected to the worst sorts of neglect and apathy.\u201d\u009d<\/div>\n<div>\u201cWe have not received aids for months,\u201dthe refugee added, wondering: \u201cWhy on earth has the world turned its back on us?\u201d\u009d<\/div>\n<div>\u201cThe Lebanese government has been treating us as tourists and foreigners and has, thus, robbed us of our basic rights,\u201dthe refugee stated. \u201cWe have felt insecure due to the fluctuating policies pursued by the Lebanese General Security and its reluctance to renew our residence permits and grant us the right to seek a livelihood in the Lebanese territories.\u201d\u009d<\/div>\n<div>Some 70 Palestinian families from Syria have been taking refuge in Al-Miyah wa Miyah shelter, in southern Lebanon.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Palestinian families from Syria sheltered in Al-Miyah wa Miyah Camp in the southern Lebanese city of Sidon, launched, in letters emailed to AGPS, cries for help over their abject living conditions.
