Over recent months, AGPS has received several reports about the detention of over 50 residents of AlNeirab Camp for Palestinian refugees, in the northern Syrian province of Aleppo, by Liwaa AlQuds armed group, affiliated with the Syrian regime.<\/span><\/p>\n

Any Palestinian refugee suspected of being involved in anti-regime protests or holding an anti-regime position is systematically arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n

Commander Adnan ASayed reportedly allocated two rooms in his private farm in AlNeirab Camp to imprison arrestees. Similar accusations have been leveled at commander Mohamed AlSa’id, whose farm has been turned into a secret prison.<\/span><\/p>\n

A number of Palestinian refugee families have been blackmailed by Liwaa AlQuds brigade affiliated with the Syrian regime, as they appealed for the release of their relatives who have been arbitrarily arrested by the militia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Palestinian refugees have been charged with counterfeit accusations, including drug trafficking, sexual abuse, and affiliations with rival parties in order to force their families to pay large sums of money to avoid fatal torture and long prison-terms.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over recent years, members of Liwaa AlQuds armed group have also been accused of running a network for drug trafficking in AlNeirab displacement camp and adjacent areas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Drug distribution is often carried out by children aged below 18 and members of cash-strapped and vulnerable families who are exploited by illicit drug trafficking networks which are subject to drug prohibition laws.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
