3 Palestinian Brothers Held in Syrian Jails

Three Palestinian brothers have been held in Syrian government lock-ups for the fifth year running. Two brothers turned themselves in following pledges by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP)-General Command (GC) to work out their case.
The three detainees are identified as: 42-year-old Samir AlBarnawi, detained since September 20, 2012. He was handed over to the Syrian government forces by PFLP-GC and works as the commander of an opposition brigade in AlTadhamun area, near Yarmouk Camp; 41-year-old Fadi AlBarnawi, also held in Syrian jails since September 20, 2012, after he was turned in to the government forces by PFLP-GC; The third detainee is Shadi AlBarnawi, kidnapped from Yarmouk Camp in October 2012.
