Director of UNRWA operations in Syria Mohamed Abdi Adar said five facilities run by the UN agency in Daraa Camp, out of a total of six facilities, were destroyed in the warfare.
In a tweet, Adar said UNRWA found out that all of its facilities in Daraa, except for the food distribution center, sustained serious damage in Syria’s raging conflict. The list includes three schools, a clinic, and a kindergarten.
Six UNRWA schools had been operative in Daraa Camp, before they have gone out of operation as a result of the bloody shootouts.
