Shelling and several mortar shells targeted Al Wafedeen camp, which is inhabited with a number of Palestinian families, and resulted in two injuries.
It is worth mentioning that the deteriorating security situation in the adjacent territories and towns to Al Wafedeen camp, which is located 20 kilometers away from the capital Damascus, in addition to the frequent shelling, had negatively impacted on the situation of the residents, who already suffer from poverty, high unemployment rate, and poor living conditions even before the events in Syria.
