A Palestinian family learns the fate of their missing son in the former regime’s detention centers

The Halawa family mourned their Palestinian-Syrian son, Faraj Halawa, after confirming his death in Syrian regime detention centers. This came after his name appeared on the death lists issued by Al-Mujtahid Hospital in Damascus, which were recently published by Zaman Al-Wasl newspaper.

Faraj Halawa was one of the Palestinian detainees who disappeared in Syrian regime prisons during the war years, while the exact circumstances of his death and its date are not yet known.

It is noteworthy that hundreds of Palestinian families still do not know the fate of their sons detained in Syrian prisons, amid ongoing demands to reveal the places of detention and hand over the bodies of the victims to their families.
