A State of Anger and Dissatisfaction Among the Residents of Khan Dannon camp Due to the Negligence Against the Camp and its Services.

A state of anger and dissatisfaction spread among the people of Khan Dannon camp south of the capital Damascus because of the great neglect of the camp and its services. The sewage roam the streets of the camp for several days and the parents had previously directed several appeals for UNRWA and for those responsible to repair the damage, but no one stirred, as described by the people of the camp. Meanwhile, observers and doctors warned of an outbreak of epidemics and diseases in the camp as a result of the continued flow of contaminated water and of not processing it rapidly.
Khan Dannun camp is considered the poorest of the Palestinian refugee camps in Syria, as its residents rely on the financial and relief aid provided by UNRWA between now and then. They also suffer of hard living crises manifested in the food shortages and the spread of unemployment and poverty, in addition to power, water, and communications cut off for long periods. It is noted that the AGPS has documented the names of 27 victims from Khan Dannoun camp who died during the war in Syria, in addition to five detainees.
