Accusations against Groups Affiliated to the Syrian Regime and Iran of Recruiting Residents of Khan Dannon Camp to Fight Against the Opposition

Activists and a number of residents from Khan Dannoun camp in Damascus suburb accused associations and groups affiliated with the Syrian regime and Iran, of enticing people and recruiting them in order to fight alongside the Regime Forces for high monthly salaries.
The activists added that those groups, which fall under Palestinian names, carry out ostensibly activities pertaining to the Palestinian cause and the suffering of its people, and aimed dramatically at youth after entreating them.
People of the camp accused those groups of leading the youth to “Al Husseneiat” area (a place where activities and events are held for the Shiite sect) in order to attract them and transmit the Safavid ideas in their minds, in an effort to recruit them and send them to the battlefront against the armed opposition groups.
It should be noted that many of these groups operating inside the Palestinian refugee camps that are still under the regime’s control, and recruiting young people under the slogans of the Liberation of Palestine and the protection of the camps, including “al-Quds Brigade” at Al Nairab camp in Aleppo and Al Raml Camp in Lathaqia, in addition to groups of the Palestinian factions such as General Command, Fatah al-intifada and Al Saaiqa.  In addition, dozens were killed during the clashes against the armed opposition groups.
