Activists around the world commemorated the first anniversary of Yahya Al-Hourani, the well-known humanitarian activist who was assassinated in Al-Yarmouk camp by unknown gunmen while heading to Palestine Hospital where he used to work
Al-Hourani, who descends from Homs’ Camp, was an internationally recognized and ICRC certified trainer in humanitarian crises management, worked in Palestine Charity Association inside the Al-Yarmouk, and played a significant role in relief and development during the siege period inside the camp.
