The Syrian security services arrested the Palestinian young woman ‘AsmaaQasim Khalil’ days ago from her home in the town of Artouz in Damascus suburb. She is from Khan Al Shieh camp, and the reasons and place of detention are unknown yet.
In addition, Syrian security forces arrested the refugee “Awad Khalil Ahmed,” (36) years, from Muzareeb town while he was on his way to work. It is referred that he is originally from the town of Al Naema in Safed-Palestine.
In the same context, the Syrian security released the Palestinian refugee “Samir Hassan” representative of the Alnidal front and an administrator of Hemma Youth Group in Khan Al Shieh camp, after he was arrested by Syrian security services on Koukab checkpoint, and then he was transferred to the hospital.
It is noted that the AGPS documented the names of 903 Palestinian prisoners in Syrian prisons during the war events, and their fate or places of detention is known yet. The AGPS also documented the names of 399 Palestinian victims who died under torture in the Syrian branches and prisons, as well as, the AGPS issued a statement earlier in which demanded the Syrian authorities to disclose the fate of Palestinian detainees and release them, believing that what happens in prisons is a crime by all standards.
