In the south of Syria, The Palestinian refugees in Daraa governorate in general and the areas of Palestinian refugees compounds especially in Daraa camp, Al- Muzeireeb, and Gleen compounds are suffering from complete absence of the necessities of life, while water and electricity are still cut by the Syrian regime forces since 561 days.
Residents are trying to solve the problem by incurring the water from distant places and paying money to buy fuel if available to run some electricity generators adding to the flour crisis which is waiting for the permission of the Jordanian authorities to be entered to the opposition control areas, in addition to the high prices of materials and scarcity of financial resources due to the ongoing war which affected on the economic situation.
Moreover, Daraa camp and Muzeireeb compound are still targeted, as the AGPS documented 328 victims in Daraa governorate. Unofficial statistics estimates the number of those remained in Daraa camp up to 500 residents and about 8,500 Palestinian refugees in Muzeireeb compound, in addition to the displaced people from Daraa camp in Muzeireeb compound and Daraa governorate areas.
