Death of an infant in Yarmouk Camp due to siege and lack of health care.

on Sunday September 2nd, a baby girl died in Yarmouk refugee camp due to the siege and a shortage of medical care.
A reporter for the AGPS said that the infant, Lana Alaa Taha, died a few hours after her birth, as a result of a shortage in health care and the siege imposed on the camp by the regime and its supporting Palestinian factions.
The group’s correspondent pointed out that the girl needed incubation and a specialized doctor. Because of their unavailability, her family was forced to move her to a hospital in Damascus, with the help of a reconciliation sheikh in Yilda. However, the long distance between Southern Damascus and the Syrian capital, with no available transportation, led to the death of the girl.
