According to the Action Group for Palestinians in Syria’s reporter in Lebanon, six members of a Palestinian-Syrian family were killed in an Israeli airstrike that struck their residence in Sidon, southern Lebanon.Â
The reporter confirmed that the family, originally from the Neirab Palestinian refugee camp in Aleppo, had sought refuge in Lebanon several years ago due to the war in Syria.Â
The deceased family members include Muhammad Jalal al-Murdaa, his wife Amal al-Murdaa, their son Jalal, their two daughters Reham and Malak, and their granddaughter Nahal. All were casualties of the bombing that targeted a residential building in Sidon.Â
Reports indicate that the recent Israeli escalation, which started on October 7, 2023, has resulted in the deaths of 23 Palestinian-Syrian refugees in southern Lebanon.
