The Action Group for Palestinians of Syria (AGPS) issued a new report entitled “Asylum-Seeking Journey in Lebanon by Palestinians from Syria”.
The 93-page report sheds light on the humanitarian and socio-economic conditions of Palestinian refugees who fled war-torn Syria to Lebanon and the role played by UNRWA. It covers the period from early 2013 to 2018.
A chapter of the study was devoted to the migration experience undertaken by Palestinians from Syria and Lebanon during Europe-bound trips.
AGPS also shed light on the repatriation waves (return migration, voluntary or involuntary, back to Syria) by refugees who lost their families and livelihoods in the host countries.
