PLA Lieutenant Redwan Kanawi sustained wounds in violent clashes between the Syrian army and opposition outfits in the environs of Khan Al-Shih Camp. The incident corroborates, for the first time, the involvement of PLA fighters in battles waged by the regime troops around Khan Al-Shih.
A few days earlier PLA delegates, pro-regime Palestinian outfits, the so-called National Defense Commissions, and representatives of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) convened in Khan Dannun Camp to discuss ways to dispatch military reinforcements to Dierkhabiya Front following the death of several regime soldiers.
