Outbreak of kidney disease in Yarmouk camp and its neighboring areas due to water cuts

In south Damascus, AGPS’s reporter in Yarmouk camp confirmed the outbreak of kidney diseases in the camp and its neighboring areas because of their dependence on untreated water from the wells, after the Syrian regime cut their supply of drinking water in mid-2013. According to our correspondent, the diseases vary between kidney stones, urinary tracts and sand sediments in varying proportions and quantities.
