Palestinian Refugees Detained in the Egyptian Prisons 159 Days Ago

The Palestinian Syrian Detainees in Karmouz prison at the city of Alexandria in Egypt renewed their demands to the Egyptian government to immediately release them and to end their suffering.
The Egyptian Attorney General had dropped the charge of illegal entry for the 56 Syrian and the Palestinian refugees who are detained in Karmouz police department and ordered their release on 5th of November 2014.  Egyptian Interior Ministry issued a decision to deport them, but they’re still in detention without charges after more than 150 days.
It is noted that there are 15 minors including the detainees, 7 of them less than 10 years, and one baby (10 months).
It should be noted that the Egyptian authorities have arrested “56” Palestinian refugees from Syria while trying to reach Italy from Turkish beaches 159 days ago after they were victims of a scam by smugglers who left them on one of the islands off the Egyptian shores.
