Emanating Committee of the Palestinians of Syria conference that was held in Austria, held its first meeting that was called to by the Coordinating Council to support Palestine in Austria at the capital Vienna to discuss the situation and the problems of displaced Palestinian refugees in Austria.
The Committee decided to work on solving the problems; by providing aids related to translation, and assisting the refugees of getting houses to live in.
It is noteworthy that the Committee will be the core of the services center, which will be established to be specialized in the affairs of Palestinian refugees from Syria and works to help them to solve their problems which they suffer of; such as  the length of reunion period which takes between six months to a year, which put them and their families in a state of tension and compels them economic burdens. Most families were distributed between Syria, Lebanon and Turkey.
These procedures and difficulties prompted one of the Palestinian refugees from Syria in Austria, on 2nd of December 2014, to undress and stand naked, in spite of the low temperature in Austria, where he said that he did so in an attempt to draw attention and to protest against delayed reunion procedures in Europe. He posted on his Facebook, “I took off my clothes in the cold because of the injustice done to me and to the Palestinian and the Syrian refugees in Austria and all of Europe, we left our children in displacement camps in Syria, Jordan and Turkey, in a new Palestinian immigration, and fled from the conflict in Syria in order to protect our children, therefore, I Â call on quickening the reunion of all refugee’s families.”
