Suffering of Handarat Residents is Still Continuous, and 59 Victims Died since the Beginning of War in Syria

In the north of Syria, the Palestinian refugees, who were displaced from Handarat camp for 781 days consequently, are still suffering, as they were displaced from their homes after the Syrian armed opposition controlled the camp.
In addition, residents of the camp are facing difficult living condition due to displacement and continuing war in Syria and its repercussions on the economic situation, which led to the weakness of financial resources and spread of unemployment.
Handarat camp and adjacent areas are still witnessing bombing and violent clashes between the Syrian armed opposition groups and the regular army alongside a group of al-Quds Brigade, while the regular army is trying to impose its control over the camp which stands as a strategic area, and the opposition groups are seeking to advance towards the town of Hndarat Aleppo central prison.
The AGPS monitoring and documentation team documented the names of 59 victims from Handarat camp, as well as it documented the names of 32 detainees from the camp in the Syrian prisons.
