The Syrian security forces arrested the Palestinian refugee “Ahmed Khaled Tahimr” and his 7-year-son “Muhammad” at Qamishli airport, during their attempt to reach Turkey, then they were transferred to one of the security branches in Damascus.
The Syrian security called his wife and asked her to come to take her son, and when asked about the fate of her husband the security member answered “Forget your husband and do not ever ask about him”.
It is noteworthy that testimonies of some released detainees confirmed the presence of children, infants, mothers, and elderly of the Palestinian refugees, while the AGPS documented 978 Palestinian prisoners.
