Al Sayeda Zainab camp at Damascus Suburb, which is controlled by the Syrian Army and the Popular committees that are affiliated to the army, is considered from the relatively calm camps but its residents suffer of severe economic crises that increased their exhausting costs to the Palestinian families in light of the week capacities, the lack of financial sources and the spread of unemployment. The situation promoted the residents to travel out to work within the popular committees. It is referred that at the beginning of 2013 an opposition group entered the camp after violent clashes and bombing for 7 months the Syrian Army entered the camp and the Palestinian Popular Committee took the mission to protect the camp. Those battles have negative impacts on the residents of the camp where a big part of the camp was damaged and a number of residents were victims. Some reports estimated the number of victims and wounded as 100 victims and 200 injured people and the AGPS documented about 42 victims.
