The suffering of thousands of Palestinian-Syrians in south of Syria continued as the clashes and shelling and warplanes raids continued destroying 75% of the camp’s building so far.
Regarding the medical sector, it is noted that there are neither hospitals nor medical centers inside the camp, in addition to the severe shortage of first aid supplies, and the need for an ambulance car to transport injuries towards the hospitals of Daraa city.
It is noteworthy that Jordanian authorities refuse to let any Palestinians pass the borders to get the medical care. In front of this situation; many activists warned from the spread of diseases among the camp’s people especially while being forced to use the contaminated water as the regime still cutting the running water for 599 days.
Daraa camp residents are suffering from the electricity cut also, as the cut continues up to many days each time, added to shortage of heating fuel and many basic commodities.
It is noteworthy that the repeated bombing and the difficult living conditions have forced hundreds of Palestinian-Syrian families of the camp to take refuge in the neighboring towns.
