Turkish news agency “Anatolia” reported that the Turkish Coast Guard was able to rescue 240 illegal immigrants off the coast of the states of Aidan and Jnaq Castle, during their attempt to travel to Greece illegally.
According to the agency report, the Coast Guard teams of the State of Oevajak area Jnaq Castle rescued 159 people from the nationalities of Syria, Afghan, and Pakistan claimed that the Greek Coast Guard sank the boats which they were on board.
Immigrants were transported to the port of Behrmcale and handed over to Turkish gendarmerie teams that will carry them in turn to the government hospital Oevajak to make the necessary medical tests and then to the foreign branch of the Security Directorate.
In the same context, the Turkish authorities at the state of Aydin coasts announced that the coast guard arrested 81 illegal immigrants in the Didim area were trying to travel to the Greek islands, and were on board two boats, including women and children, all of whom are coming from Syria, was transferred to the jurisdiction of the Security Directorate.
