UNRWA Schools in Yalda Facing Staff Shortage

Palestinian refugees in Yalda have denounced the poor-quality education services provided to their children in the area.

Speaking with AGPS, a number of parents said their children have not received school furniture yet and a number of classrooms have been left without teachers.

Several UNRWA facilities were destroyed in the Syrian warfare and others have gone out of operation, including two clinics, a vocational training center, a youth development center, and 28 schools, out of 112 UNRWA schools in Syria.
