During a meeting with Palestinian Ambassador in Turkey Dr. “Fayed Mustafa,” President of the Turkish Association for Solidarity with Palestine (Vidar), “Mohammed Msheneish,” stressed on the need to regulate the legal status of Palestinian refugees coming from Syria to Turkey, and improve the humanitarian and legal status.
Mr.Msheneish called for concerted efforts to serve the Palestinians in Turkey, and coordination with the Turkish official authorities to allow Palestinian refugees to obtain a regular visa rather than risk themselves through smuggling, and to facilitate the procedures of obtaining free authority passports for refugees.
For his part, the Palestinian ambassador stressed the importance of following up the suffering of the Palestinian refugees in Turkey, as he visited the refugees in southern Turkey, while they issued 500 free authority passports for refugees.
The Ambassador spoke about his meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, reviewing with him the Palestinian situation in Turkey from various aspects.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides stressed the need for communication and cooperation that would serve the Palestinian refugees in Turkey in the best way.
