The Italian coast guards rescued a boat that was launched from Mercin on 25thof December 2014, as the boat was carrying a number of Palestinian Syrian and Syrian refugees, while the Italian authorities clarified that the number of the immigrants who have arrived to Italy has ten times exceeded the past years.Â
It is mentioned that hundreds of Palestinian Syrian families had to ride what is known as “Death Boats” that launch from the Egyptian, Libyan, and Turkish shores carrying the refugees from the European shores without any safety conditions.
